Epperson Lagoon
Epperson Lagoon embodies the Florida lifestyle, with its brilliant blue oceans, sandy beaches, and several places to unwind in the sun.
The Lagoon, right near Wesley Chapel, is a massive 7.5-acre pool replete with a floating obstacle course, waterslide, live music, swim-up bar, and much more to guarantee you enjoy the perfect day under the sun.
To spend a day at Epperson Lagoon, you first must purchase a day permit. Day passes cost $40, or you may get a late day one for $35, allowing you to enter after 3 pm. All-day passes include accessibility to the beach and water section, lawn games, a 30-foot waterslide, beach volleyball, and the swim-up bar. Anything extra you wish to do is an add-on and will incur a fee.
There's much to do in the lagoon, whether engaging in adventurous excursions or unwinding by the water. If you prefer privacy, you can choose from the different cabana rentals available. They have the Aquabana Rental, which is your private floating cabana. You can select a regular cabana on land, premium seating with access to a private bar and pool, or a beach umbrella to provide shade from the sun.
A full day of outdoor fun will leave you hungry. Fortunately, Epperson Lagoon offers a fantastic cafe where you can refuel and rejuvenate. The Reef Café is a popular hangout for snacks, salads, and sandwiches.
In addition to many activities, the lagoon has an active events schedule. Every Saturday from 11 to 2 p.m., enjoy Bingo & Brunch with brunch offers. Adult Karaoke allows you to sing songs. Other activities include turf movies, quizzes, and much more.
With almost 7 acres of land and crystal clear blue seas, there are many activities for the entire family to take pleasure in at the Lagoon. The Lagoon Day Pass provides admission to the country's first Crystal Lagoon.
What was once a cow field north of Tampa now houses Metro Lagoon's first Crystal Lagoon. The sustainable, artificial water is the hub of the Epperson community, with paddle boarding, swimming, kayaking, and wandering along sandy beaches available. It also has a swim-up bar, a floating obstacle course, cabanas, and other amenities, making it the ideal residential adventure.
The lagoon's perimeter is 4,200 linear square feet, with a depth of approximately 8 feet and some sections as deeper as 12 feet.
The innovative ultrasonic technology system at Perfectly Lagoon employs hundreds of detectors to maintain the water crystal clear. It consumes 50 times less water than a similar-sized park and 30 times less water than an 18-hole golf course. It utilizes 100 times the chemicals of a pool and up to 50 times the energy of traditional pool filtration.
The advent of Metro Lagoons will permanently alter citizens' perceptions of coastal living in Florida. Instead of driving an hour to the beach, regardless of location, it is just feet from their front doors.
